Get Blasted with a Glory Bomb!

I was sent this video by a reader (thanks, Thomas).

When you walk into your local church, does your pastor ever encourage you to “get blasted?”  Does he try to hit you with a “glory bomb?”  No???  What?!?!  You haven’t lived until you’ve been hit in the snoot with a glory bomb!  You’ve never exprienced a rip-snorting good time unless you’ve done a Peter Pan head-first in the floor!  Okay, I’m being facetious.  I tend to get that way when I see deception like this.

You want to know what I find so disgusting?  I find it disgusting that men like Rob DeLuca (who you will see in this video), pastor of His Way Church in Auckland, New Zealand,  pretends to throw around the glory of God as if it were a common thing.  Is God’s glory so basic that sinful man can possess it and sling it around at will?  Think about that.

Also, think about this – why is it that men (and women) who claim to be so holy and powerful appear so tacky and wicked?  When fruit is that rotten, you just can’t hide it.

Just wait until you see the part about the glory pool at the end of the video….. just watch it.

What do you expect from someone who “prophesied” while on stage with Good old Todd, and is a friend of Bill Johnson?

Seeing this video reminds me of this video from Morningstar Ministries back when Todd Bentley was in the midst of his “shikaboomba revival” in 2008. At that time the so called “Holy Spirit Outbreak” was occurring in Ft. Mill and went on for months until the downfall of Bentley. The video above speaks of a “pool” and a similar thing is mentioned in the video link I am placing below regarding the old PTL fountain that existed in the past in the main lobby area.

Now close to 3 years later more “pools” are showing up.
I think anyone in their right mind with Biblical discernment will see this is a pool of deception and not of healing.

He should try out for the NFL as a quarterback and let some linebacker jerk the slack out of him

I am just so glad the girls in their dresses did not compromise their dignity.:) K

This is so sad…it also seems very carnal…and all about showmanship rather than a display of the fruit of the Spirit as Galatians 5 teaches.

For a minute there I thought i was viewing another church service , but no , wrong again , just another shaman messing with other peoples lives. Something definitely wrong here, everyone else is getting whacked in the ” glory pool” , but the super cool host is largely unaffected.

I wouldn’t be surprised when they are going to ‘Bounce in the Spirit’ next year at new revivals. Place two people on the stage and let them run toward eachother and than they hit eachother as hard as they can and they bounce backwards and fall down (in the Spirit).
If laughing in the Spirit or being hit by a Glory Bomb is no longer funny or exiting than they invent something new to entertain the crowd.

It is making me sad. This has nothing to do with a Holy God.

  8. Evette

Very sad …there was nothing godly about it, all demonic activity. All the marks of demonic activity, laughing, shaking of the head back and forth, and manifestations can be seen in their faces.

The XP Media logo at the end of the video shows Rob’s ties to Extreme Prophetic / Patricia King.

YUK! It’s the Toronto thing all over again. Psychological manipulation, pure and simple, basically a hypnosis show. There’s nothing supernatural whatsoever other than people being deceived into thinking that man-made experiences are somehow from God.Rob DeLuca is a disgrace to Jesus, and I’m saddened that his congregation don’t have the discernment to walk away.

Was that Todd Bentley and Benny Hinn sitting on the back row – Nah – but could have been.

In scripture when people worshiped the LORD they fell forward – NOT backward. I saw no one falling forward – this speaks volumns. These things will ONLY grow worse and worse in the days and weeks ahead.

Noticed the vast number of young folks – seeking an experience – but not the holiness of a Sovereign LORD Who desires that all should repent, turn from their wicked ways and live holy lives devoted to Him, but sadly it would appear, from this video — the Word is no longer enough.

  12. 2plus2

Please tell me why these young people fall for this voodoo….no, this has nothing to do with God. How much more silliness will it take before these folks stop and take a real look at what they are doing and who they are following. I am afraid this is going to get MUCH worse before it gets any better. Hope I’m wrong thou as this kind of stuff makes me sad to the bone but everyday I see more and more. God help us all.

I personally thought it was a glory grenade. Interesting how a blessing from the (fake god) is centered around a location in the building (I assume because the power of the false deity is limited).
very sad to keep seeing these things

I was looking through a listing of references regarding “glory” in R.A. Torrey’s New Topical Textbook via e-Sword and there is not one reference to laughter concerning God’s glory.

Then in a search of the word ‘laughter’ brought this result: “Woe to you who laugh now, For you shall mourn and weep.” Luke 6:25

John Gill’s commentary regarding this verse states:
Woe unto you that laugh now; at sin, rejoice in iniquity, make a mock at it, instead of mourning for it; or that glory in themselves, and in their righteousness, and rejoice in their boastings:

for ye shall mourn and weep; shall be cast into outer darkness, where are weeping, waiting, and gnashing of teeth; and for all the fire they have kindled, and sparks they have encompassed themselves with, and danced in and about, this they shall have at the hand of God, they shall lie down in sorrow, and ever continue in it.

This seems all too much as if it were speaking of the people in this video and what an utterly terrifying experience they will face one day before God.

I’m watching “Despicable Me” and it has more truth than the “Glory Bombs” – just another Todd Bentley wannabe. And sadly the sheeple follow~

  16. IWTT

Yes, I have noticed that before in many other videos. The people seem to be spastic while the leader doesn’t get that way. What a sham!

  17. Mandy Mom

This really, really disturbs me. (I guess if it doesn’t disturb you, there’s an issue, right?) People laying around on the stage, on the floor, jerking around as if they are possessed (and some probably are)…. all “in the name of Jesus Christ”?

  18. Sarah @ livingtoworship

“I am just so glad the girls in their dresses did not compromise their dignity. K”

I was hoping I wasn’t the only one that noticed the complete absence of modesty on the women involved in this “meeting”. Of course, propriety, modesty, and holy living are such religious drags.

  19. Craig

I saved into an MS Word Doc some info from Bentley’s Fresh Fire Canada site, specifically his “Joel’s Army Internship” tab. The first bullet point under “Discipleship” reads:

    • From time to time Todd will have weekly associate ministries and friends blast you in the Holy Ghost

I’m only halfway through the video (it’s still loading) but even at this point – nay, even at the beginning, when they apparently “walked into the glory” I’m appalled and sickened with this. Especially when I saw the kid in the background, the boy – who is probably around my eldest son’s age. Seeing those people rolling on the floor, the girls walking around stumbling like they’re drunk – I know I’m not the only one who thinks this looks like a drunken frat party! And the fact that there’s “something” they can feel (putting a name on it like “the glory” doesn’t make it of God) you just know they’re walking in the presence of demons who are having just as much fun with it as the people who are “getting blasted.” I am heartsick when I think about the real blasting these people are going to receive in the pits of hell if they don’t run to the Truth before it’s too late.😦

My oh my…could this be a little of what Moses saw when he came down from the mountain after being with God?

For some strange reason the comments for this video at the youtube site were disabled.

    I wonder why? (……… Sarcasm …………. Sorry)

  23. Daffydil

Hum…let’s see now…blasted by a “glory ball”, or hit broadside with a demonic spirit? This reminds me of the “Holy Spirit Hooky Pokey” a few weeks ago. Frighteningly sad.

  24. Nicole

It is pathetic and sad , and unfortunately at one time I , too, experienced this, while being for a short time in Keith Miller’s conferences and Bobby Conner’s conferences which I found out later, they were all in Bill Johnson’s and P. King, and Heidi Baker, and then that rolled into the back door of the dominion group and they all have their foot into the new age, imagination, and think out what you want (wish and think upon it and you will receive if you keep saying the mantras)

Bobby Conner’s surely knows how to spill out scripture. I mean, to the point that it was actually hypnotic because he did it accurately (and it was on the screen) but what he was doing was speaking the scriptures and then “blasting” people w/ a fire ball of glory. And that made people get into a frenzy and “want more” more of coarse – not of the TRUTH of THE LORD, but of the fireballs and he “tossed” them like a pretend rubber ball and I am sure still does.

I watched people get hypnotized during these conferences and truly believing that it was of the Holy Spirit.

Praise God for HIS MERCY and showing many the truth ——His Truth and for those that are truly wanting to learn HIS TRUTH , and continues to repent and ask and stay close unto HIM, our Lord, Jesus Christ, He will hear and set them free.

  25. Doug

I’m reminded of an idea from Blackaby’s “Experiencing God” series-the quote, “Don’t just do something, stand there!”
Meaning that many Christians feel that they have to DO something, that they must charge around doing/working/experiencing.
But God says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” If we focus on Him instead of running around seeking to feel something from God…then we’re doing it right. There is no one exhibiting quiet meditation of or respect for God in that circus video.

The persecution is here and now, this is the testing of the saints, will they follow the deceiver or will they remain faithful to God.

  27. Jon Pannell

That’s so wild. This reminds me back in Acts when the men spoke in tongues when the Holy Spirit came in like a wind. However, they didn’t convulse or laugh uncontrollably or anything of that matter.

We can definitely see that some things have changed since that time. And all we can do is shake our heads.

Oh, did anyone else notice that girl crouching under the pulpit?

  28. Rev's Kate & Rich M.

Young people need to be in sports, drum corps’, dance teams, after school activities, etc. to keep them grounded and socialized; involved in healthy, fun things to do– not rolling all over the church floors, I’m supposin’, on Friday nights and… get jobs too while they’re at it.

It must be me– just an old fogie!

Why isn’t anyone investigating these ministries? K

  29. Barry

They r treating the Holy Spirit with such disrespect, its mocking and saddens me cuz I was there at one time many yrs. ago. They dont know what they r doing and I pray God has mercy upon them as he did upon me and my wife.Run away from this sort of stuff as fast as your feet will carry you

  30. Barry

The Lord will use this kind of stuff as a rod upon the church, they want this kind of stuff and not what the Lord would have them to have. They are given over to this kind of stuff beacuse they do not love the truth and cannot judge correctly in the spirit, they have no discernment and are completely open to any and all deception from the devil, they are having what they want and u r seeing full blown indulgence in the flesh,it is spiritual harlotry at its vilest,if it does not offend your spirit than there is something wrong,it is not the Holy Spirit

  31. Blue

actually now after watching all these videos i feel sick to my core
this is nothing short of hysterical shaking slithering demonic behavior
ick i rebuke it in the name of Jesus.
and this goes on in my own town : (
there is no bible only church left here … I just pray we all stay faithful till the end
    our redemption draws near
    with love Blue

The only one missing in that youtube clip of Andy is Harry Potter….
Look at these poor kids, they simply enjoy it that they have “the power”.

My conclusion is that Rob DeLuca has got nothing to do with historic Christian Faith, he is a “false prophet” with a “a lying spirit in the mouth” and “seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD,’ when the LORD has not spoken.”
2Ch 18:18-22 “And Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left. And the LORD said, ‘Who will entice Ahab the king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?’ And one said one thing, and another said another. Then a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD, saying, ‘I will entice him.’ And the LORD said to him, ‘By what means?’ And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’ Now therefore behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets. The LORD has declared disaster concerning you.”

Eze_13:9 My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who give lying divinations. They shall not be in the council of my people, nor be enrolled in the register of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
Eze_22:28 And her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD,’ when the LORD has not spoken.
