By now, most of my readers are familiar with the prophetic movement’s seven-mountain mandate, which is the strategy the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) has adopted for taking over the world. Those seven mountains, which they believe need to be conquered in order to gain control of the earth, are:
- Arts and Entertainment
- Family Services
- The Church
In the video below, Patricia King rallies the NAR troops by saying, “…the media mountain, it has to be taken! It must be possessed and occupied by the body of Christ because if we don’t take it, the enemy will! He’s got a pretty good position in that mountain now, so we got to take him down and establish the flag of the Lord on that mountain.” I’m sure the CEOs of all the major networks are shaking in their boots.
King says that if they conquer that mountain, kingdom communication will be forthcoming from the body of Christ to the nations of the world. That’s wishful thinking on King’s part, for if they were able to take over the media, the only thing that would be forthcoming is false doctrine along the lines of which only Patricia King, Cindy Jacobs, Todd Bentley (who was mentored by King), Rick Joyner, and Bob Jones can convey. And that’s just naming a few!
King believes that by taking over and teaching the church the art of directing, producing, and makeup artistry, they will somehow advance the kingdom of God. How much money and time will be wasted on worthless endeavors like this? It’s a shameful state of the church and conventions like the Media Fest that King is promoting contradict the Word of God, which tells us that God chose the preaching of the gospel as the means for souls to be saved. (1 Corinthians 1:21)
Perhaps the saddest part of the video is when King says, “We’re going to see the glory released into this new realm of media.” Joshua Mills is one of the keynotes at this conference, and this is the same Joshua Mills who claims to have eaten golden leaves from the tree of life, and who just last month offered “anointed” cloths soaked with oil from his feet as a free gift in return for a generous donation, and this is the same Joshua Mills whose wife claims their son was born covered in gold dust.
King says this isn’t just an event, but a prophetic environment where they will come together and prophesy into the atmosphere the emergence of God’s media army. While they’re planning and plotting ways to take over the world and pad their pockets with the benefits, there are unsung heroes of the faith who, for little to no pay, trek the earth to share the gospel because the souls Jesus died to redeem are worth more than the ivory castles and the accolades that comes along with false doctrine. There are faithful ministers who climb behind the pulpit and have the courage to teach the truth of God’s Word inspite of the false teachers who compromise for fame, fortune, and popularity.
Never believe conqering the world will bring God’s Kingdom to this earth. The Bible tells us that as time goes by, the earth will grow increasingly wicked and that will only be dealt with when Lord Jesus returns. Not a moment before. Until then, let us continue to share the gospel, which is the power of God for salvation in this dark world. (Romans 1:16)
The NAR can keep their media empire – I’ll take the gospel.
