Joshua Mills and His School of Mysticism

Joshua Mills, who never ceases to completely shun Scripture in favor of mystical signs and wonders, had a school of aforementioned signs and wonders in Honolulu, Hawaii, from June 21 to 26.  This was part of what he called the Intensified Glory Institute

There were three courses in this school.  They were:

Course 1 – Activating angels, the power of praise and worship, the three realms of the supernatural, third-day intercession, how to operate in creative miracles, flowing in signs and wonders, and experiencing realms of Heavenly glory.

Course 2 – More about activating angels, go even further into realms of Heavenly glory, understanding visions and dreams, and much more.

Course 3 (Advanced School of Miracles) – Miracle techniques, how to flow in the miracle realm, how to maintain your miracle (ya don’t wanna lose it, ya know), and how to activate the things you learn in the Word.

I’m sorry, but I can’t find anywhere in the Bible where the apostle Paul, or any of the other apostles, held glory schools, signs and wonders schools, or schools of the anointing.  It’s just not there.

I can show you where the apostle Paul said “For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified,” and it can be found right there —->  1 Corinthians 2:2; but, there were no glory schools, miracle techniques, or seminars on how to activate angels.  It’s just not there.  But, then again, Joshua Mills is a heretic.  Should we really be surprised?

Well, I don’t think even peering into a crystal ball or attending a New Age workshop could top that. Probably cheeper too. These two religions, New Age and New Christianity are becoming less and less different. The thing I notice is that they have a whole new vocabulary. I think they should bring out a mystical dictionary with new meanings for old words.
How clever Satan is to offer these cheap, flashy counterfeits to the restless thrill seekers who barter their faith, which is more precious than gold, for the worthless novelties and snake oil of these market traders. Will Christ not drive their sorry schemes and dripping sock feet from the temple with more passion than he did the first time around?
    Jeremiah 2:11
Has a nation ever changed its gods? (Yet they are not gods at all.) But my people have exchanged their Glory for worthless idols.

Sounds like the name of a rejected beatles album-the guys in this camp must really have a nice gig, they basically build up a following tickling people’s ears of “spiritual” experiences and travel the globe on tour with various gimmicks.

@Carolyn, you are right: New Age and New Christianity (or the New Wineskins…) have a lot in common.

Alice Bailey, the mother of New Age, said that the New Age had to invade the church. Well, we see it happening right now. The new ager’s invaded the church last century and now it is becoming clear that New Age and ‘New Christianity’ have the same source: gnostics, strange fire, the father of lies, satan the ‘angel of light’.

Paul warned the church of Ephesus in Acts 20:29,30
“For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.”

Josh isn’t the only one doing this fun stuff. Mike Bickle, leader of cult IHOP in Kansas City, had his kids doing a “Signs and Wonders camp” for the very young 8 – 12 years old.
Hey kids, YOU can lay hands on the sick and they SHALL recover! But what happens to that child’s mind when Grandma still dies? Adults can handle that, but kids? Kids always, always, always think things are THEIR fault.

And you’re right: This junk just isn’t in the Bible ANYwhere.

    “maintain your miracle”?????

I can just see Jesus telling the lady that touched the hem of His garment to go and “maintain your miracle.” I’m flabbergasted

Listen God does heal people but not everyone who asks for healing is healed.I have known and lost dear bros and sis’s in the Lord 2 cancer. These people were genuine beleivers and followers of Christ and they died. They prayed and others prayed for healing for them but in this life they were not healed, they r now cuz they r with the Lord. All this stuff about healing and prosperity etc makes me want 2 vomit. These people preaching this stuff are out 2 lunch. My friends didn’t die beacuse of lack of faith or beleif in Gods word. They were people of faith and I was always amazed at their faith. Now as I look back I see a little bit of what God was doing and ya he was at work even in their sickness. These people dont want 2 beleive the word that says we r called 2 suffer for Christ and who’s 2 say how that should be.I also find it interesting that many who preach this stuff, when they fall ill are not themselves healed, now tell me what does that say?And over the last number of years there have been a number of high profile who have fallen ill and died, they were not healed although they preached this message. Why were they not healed?I dont know but I know that God does.I stopped asking a long time ago why all r not healed. My job is 2 trust the Lord in all these things and know that he knows and that he is good.
