Rick Joyner and Morningstar Madness

I’ve featured this video on my blog before, but since Rick Joyner would like to go mainstream with his seven-mountain conquering “Oak Initiative,” I thought it would be a good time to remind everyone of what Joyner teaches and promotes.  If you embrace the cult of the New Apostolic Reformation, don’t expect sound Biblical doctrine – expect demonic manifestations like this.

Is this what you would call credibility?

Wow. That sounded so demonic that it was scary. Go to this youtube video and tell me how it’s different from Joyner’s stuff.

This video I linked is a voodoo ceremony. These people are trying to conjure up some demon from Hell whether they realize it or not. Notice the same shaking, the same appearance of drunkenness, the mystic rhythms, the chanting, etc., that can also be seen in the video clip of Joyner’s “church” service.

    In His service,

Extremely disturbing and utterly saddening to see children exposed to this. yet, this is a norm that is accepted now and the movement is growing as the Gospel is being ignored.

It is disturbing also to see just how many people are caught up in Joyner’s teachings. So much so that the ones who follow Joyner also fully support Todd Bentley just because of Joyner’s association and so called “reinstatement” of Bentley. It simply demonstrates that people want to have their ears tickled and have an obsession with the “miraculous”.

Indeed sad…… but…… let us also rejoice for this is what was prophecied by our Lord that is to come before Jesus comes to reign and rule. We should bring the truth to the church and show the church that there is a false apostate portion of the church that is alive and well, but we have every opportunity to save some yet.

Keep up the good posting Chrystal

This is all very sad. Then again…I’ve come to realize that many people just revel in unbiblical mysticism; so I guess they get what they asked for.

I have a niece that is cought up in this, her mother is beside her self and doesn’t know what to do. She has failed out of college because of this, and nothing we say is helping in any way.

One thing about these and similar videos- I’ve found them just as revealing without the scrolling info on the side or onsrceen- to me that’s more annoying-if a producer of the video wants to comment just do so before or after the video

    Hi jhesser:

The very best thing you can do for you niece is pray for her on a daily basis. Pray that the Lord will be merciful to her, protect her, and send solid, Bible-based Christians to witness to her. Pray that the Lord will open her eyes and ears to the truth of His word–all according to His will.

Also, it is important that you and your niece’s mother be available to answer questions your niece may have–without fellowshipping with her (Ephesians 5:11-12). So, be sure to educate yourself on how to respond to those who are caught up in the Prophetic Movement. A good place to start is by studying Matthew chapter 24.

In the meantime, try not to let the situation dominate your life and draw you away from the Lord. Your niece is in God’s hands, and He is perfectly capable of taking care of her and the situation. So, pray that God will bring you and your niece’s mother comfort and peace.

We serve the God of miracles. He is the mover of mountains. He answers prayer. Draw close to the Lord and remain steadfast, and trust in Him to bring about His perfect will in your niece’s life.

“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him” (1 John 5:13-15).

    God bless,
