Paula White: Dead Bodies and Tithes

In this newly released video, there are a couple of things I want to address.

Paula White teaches her congregation at Without Walls International Church that there is power in their praise.  A quote from White that I found interesting was this:

“So He said I’m gonna teach you a lesson (who ‘he’ is, I’m not sure, but I think she’s talking about God.  The video started a little late for me to ascertain for certain, but given the content of her speech, I believe she’s talking about God.)… He said, ‘I’m gonna teach you how powerful your praise is, and I’m gonna teach your enemy how big your God is.  God’s not just gonna teach a lesson to you, He’s gonna teach a lesson to your enemy.  Next time they come back or try to, they aren’t gonna come back.  ‘Cuz they’re gonna get their butt beat so bad – they’re gonna be so defeated – that everybody’s gonna see.’  You’re gonna find out because God’s not gonna – God’s not gonna stop this enemy, He’s gonna eliminate it where there’s nothing left but dead bodies.  That everybody else that tries to mess with you [will] say, ‘Uh-uh!  I don’t wanna get in that fight, because when I start fighting her God, I don’t get a black eye, I get a death sentence.’  (And, of course, the crowd shouts their approval.)  I, I feel a word, I’m preaching prophetically.”

When I listened to that, my head crooked to the side and my eyebrows knitted together in bewilderment.  I said, “Huh?”  Is she saying that God is going to kill her enemies?  Is she teaching that to her congregation?  I was perplexed, so I kept listening and I’m sorry to say, she didn’t clarify whether she was talking about spiritual enemies, debts, illness, or real people.

White spends the rest of the video charging the congregation to “take back” what the enemy has taken, and wouldn’t ya know it, most of it is money related.  But, after 14 minutes of pumping up this crowd and supposedly breaking all curses off of them, she commands the people:

“Now, I want you to get your tithe and your offering.  Tithe is your 10 percent.  It belongs to the Lord.  It’s holy, it’s covenant.  If you’re not a tither, repent.  What do you mean, I changed my mind, changed my direction.  ‘Cause you can take back all day, you can praise all day, but if you are out of covenant with God, then there’s a curse literally upon you.  God doesn’t curse you – you’ve moved yourself outside of covering.  It belongs to the Lord.  It’s holy.  Don’t desecrate it.  Let me tell you what it would be like: if I had a communion table up here, and I were to spit in the communion table, I’d desecrate it.  It would be vile.  You wouldn’t come back to this church.  Rightfully so.”  [Video ends]

That’s right!  Take back everything the enemy has taken, but first get out your wallet, because your praise only has power if it’s accompanied by your money.  Isn’t that always the bottom line?  The penalty for failing to do so?  You’ll be under a curse!  Can’t have that now, can we?

White claims the author of these things she speaks is God, but we know it can’t be God who inspired this because it’s unscriptural.  God does, however, address this kind of speaking in His word:

Proverbs 30:5-6:

5 Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.  6 Do not add to His words Lest He reprove you, and you be proved a liar.

Listen for yourself.

  1. When will the day come, when these people wake up and realize they are being used by this woman? SHE is the one that is desecrating the pulpit, (1) to stand there and preach and be called a pastor, and (2) to lay a guilt trip on people that unless they give their money they are cursed. She’s the one who’s gonna get judged for her heresy by God, but I’d rather see the entire congregation leave and everyone who has watched and supported her financially, to stop supporting her. One good exposure of fraud and abuse of the money that’s been given to WWIC would do it too.

  2. Robert L. says:

This latest clip on Paula White simply reaffirms everything I’ve known about her. Its just not Christianity – not even close. Where does one begin ? Its wrong on every level. I have no doubt that Paula White knows EXACTLY what she’s doing. Like Benny Hinn shes countin up the offering
at the end of the show, seeing how much money she was able to rob the sheeple of, so she can go on living her lavish lifestyle another day. After awhile the clip becomes so pathetic; that people would want to get caught up in this idiosy is beyond me. But its not Christianity. If people are to take back everything the enemy has taken, then maybe Paula should give it all back.

  3. Grant says:

It’s amazing how these guys elevate the “tithe” above Jesus’ Death Burial and Resurrection

  4. stan says:

Job praised the Lord after he lost his wealth and children when he said, The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD. After he said that, things went from horrible to intolerable. Yet, he praised again from the ashes when he said Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?

Job did not seek a miracle or a breakthrough with his praises. He meant exactly what he said: God is to be praised in either gain or in loss. He knew more about faith than all the celebrity ministers on TV combined. He also didn’t look for a priest to tithe his last shekels to in the hopes of getting a hundred-fold back on the way to recover his prosperity. He had a long hard road ahead of him after he uttered his praises. How alien such teachings as White’s sound against such true examples of the righteous.

If White had sat down among the friends to counsel Job with her gobbledegook, I would not want to hear what God would say to her out of the whirlwind. Shiver me timbers.

  6. Javanut says:

She’s looking really thin and emaciated. Also her preaching is rather uninspiring and wilted. I remember when she was fired up back in the early ’00′s(how do we designate 2001-2005?). To me she is just throwing out phrases to get the crowd pumped but it’s not even working – crowd looks rather pathetic.

Could we be seeing the demise of the prosperity movement? The last, dying gasps? Stay tuned :)

  7. This article was really fascinating to me.Satan knew who God was and knew his power long before we ever came along. He was cast out of heaven with a third of his angels. He tried God then and lost. All curses were broken at Calvary. This is a perfect example of false doctrine and word of faith movement. We are hid in Christ and the wicked one cant touch you.

  8. Rick Frueh says:

Let’s see, God says we should love our enemies and do good to them, but He wants to kill them? This is another example of dragging the Old Testament into the New Covenant for self serving purposes. The spectacle of people like Ms. White is not only a affront to the gospel of Christ, it is not even Christian.

  9. Doug says:

Chrystal, I respectfully pass on listening to the White Lies
as I am heading to bed and don’t want her wandering around in my subconscious. ;)
The money money money thing never seems to move off the top of their list. I think even healing comes in second for these people.
As for the text you printed of what White said…rather than standing by and waiting for God to decimate our enemies, we are supposed to pray for them, care for them, attempt to share the Gospel with them. I can’t think of anyone that I want to see go to hell-I would rather that Heaven be full.
Bye the bye, I pointed a pentecostal friend towards your blog; I haven’t heard yet what he thought if it.

  11. Rev's Kate and Rich M. says:

Hey Momma–you’re right! That doctrine they keep inflating will eventually pop and the garbage they keep dumping will finally fill the landfill of foolishness and God’s true word will be as it always is, true. Good to see you again. K :)

  12. Skywave20 says:

This is what happens when a “church” wants to put itself partially back under the done away with Old Covenant for the sake of justifying getting money. John Lindell of James River Assembly has often said in the past, paraphrasing (regarding modern-day “tithing” related to “tithing” on NET INCOME or GROSS INCOME, “Do you want a NET blessing or a GROSS blessing?”) Didn’t Jesus also say we would have poor people with us always. I thought the New Testament says we have all, who have made Jesus both Savior and Lord of our lives, been blessed with all blessings in Him, I.e., His redemptive work on our behalf. Come, Lord Jesus.

  13. Momma, I’m really gonna hafta get you your own account.

    Amen, by the way. :)

  14. Stephen says:

When will you guys stop complaining about this stuff? Just live a wonderful christian life and get off the blogs. Your not changing anyone or anything by wasting all this time reading articles about it. Their idiots, there has always been idiots and always will be. Move on………………

  15. stephen says:

Listen moderator, you are wasting your life investing time in these stupid blogs. Your not changing anything and neither are your blogging brothers and sisters. Devote this precious time to something sincere and meaningful. You are not leading anyone away from the slaughter. Its a trap, get out of the trap.

  16. I was shocked when I’ve read the posting from Grant. Was this really an advertisement in Charisma Magazine? But it must have been because those leeches will try to do everything to deceive the gullible for their own good and interest. But what have shocked me was their emphasis on tithing and their aggressive attitude towards non-tithers. It reminded me to a sermon from Creflo Dollar that, if he was able, he would shoot all the non-tithers in his church with a machinegun, very similar how the Nazis had done that to the Jews. Next to that, they would teach you how to keep the IRS of your back. This sentence implies that you are allowed to raise money, even in very dubious ways. The trick is not to get caught by the IRS. Well, if you are following the true way of Christ, than you have nothing to hide right. The WoF movement are also facing very hard times. It must be! Otherwise they would not shamelessly beg for money and threatening non-tithers with curses. It is just blackmail. I hope that all these organizations and ministries will go broke or face bankruptcy, so that they can share the real message of Christ. One of these items is to be content with what you have. But these selfish EGO’s will never share this message I think. I hope that God will put an end to this nonsense so that they will have this same attitude as Job had. God have mercy on them, because they think that you can buy yourself into heaven. I hope they will repent in time.

  17. ian vincent says:

Paul the Apostle gave a considerable amount of teaching and detailed direction on the subject of giving. He never once exhorted anyone to tithe. He always exhorted freewill giving.

Sooooooo much teaching on the subject and he forgot to mention the tithe?

He did not forget to mention it. Tithing was part of the Jewish law concerning the priesthood and he was not a teacher of the law.

Jesse Duplantis actually made one correct statement about her……”She’s the whitest black woman I’ve ever seen!” Wonder if she’s still taking tours of the Vatican with Benny Hinn? (Sorry….couldn’t help myself)

  19. Pine Tree Preacher says:

Desecration? She has used the Biblical categories of covenant, praise, tithe, repent and holy in an incantation of witchcraft and magic. She actually teaches the congregation the practice of a magic formula — the offering up of money– as a defense against a curse.

She profanes the name of God by representing His person as one that requires not mercy, not burnt offerings, but money. Her god is less even than one of the carnal Greek gods. She invokes the god mammon. Desecration indeed. Hers is a not so subtle attempt to turn God into a god.

This is not a prophesy. She is casting a spell. The only test of its validity — did it work?
    $$ Ca-ching $$ What do you think?

  20. Kiwi Dave says:

In regards to the article from Charisma Magazine that Doug quoted, all those that endorsed that Financial Seminar, and false prophets like Paula White are all summed up by the words of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and the Apostle James whose teachings are in stark contrast to what is being praised in that article:

“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.” Matthew 6:1 & 2 KJV

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.” Matthew 6:5 KJV

“And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.” Luke 6: 20 – 26 KJV

“Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.” James 5:1 – 6 KJV

  21. JG says:

“It’s amazing how these guys elevate the “tithe” above Jesus’ Death Burial and Resurrection”

Excellent quote. But there isn’t a ‘payoff’ directly associated with the Death, Burial and Resurrection like there is with ‘the seed’.

The moneychangers worship ‘the seed’ because it’s such a powerful motivational tool for them to convince their audience to give money to them. That’s why ‘the seed’ topic has replaced salvation, holiness (true, not the fake external kind) holiness and integrity as the preferred topic of today’s televangelists.

And the audience is not without criticism as they regularly look for an emotional experience rather than real worship of the God who is far greater than an emotional experience. I personally do not see the difference between drug addicts and people in ‘church’ addicted to religious emotionalism. Been there, done that. Those people lose the ‘presence of God’ really quick in the parking lot, in traffic or at the restaurant after ‘church’ if they’re inconvenienced of have to wait for something. I DO believe God does touch our emotions at times, but I don’t believe we were ever to live off emotional experiences.

  22. iwanthetruth says:

This is what I posted recently regarding these WoF/MSoG/Dominion followers:

This is pretty serious stuff and the more you read on their mission and what they want to establish, they are doing a pretty good job of it. Many are succumbing to the deception. They are, as we have all stated in the past, deceived deceivers, who have become decieved. And we also know that God is allowing the deception to be a judgement.

The thought that came to me is that, possibly as we get closer to the time where more of the prophecies given in Gods word about what will come or happen n the last days, I am wondering if the persecution that will come about to believers, not that it isn’t already occuring in other countries by many other religious groups, but in America will be from this branch of “christianity” and that the greatest deception that occurs will be that “jesus” WILL return as they are claiming and prophecying after they perfect the church, but, in all reality, it will truly be the “angel who shows himself as the “angel of light”. As God allows the deception to grow in these people, when the anti-christ comes, they will believe he IS the christ and will not only fall down to worship him but will be part of greatest persection that occurs within the “church’.

  23. Rev's Kate & Rich M. says:

I re-read Ms. White’s thing posted up there. It makes me nervous– her “preaching” to her congregants– recently a shooting took place in a Lakeland FL church.

Here’s the problem: just even hinting that God is (she has no apologies) going to eliminate a Christian’s enemies (not stating who or what that means), somehow seems to give license to those who may be disgruntled with their pastors, ex-pastors, church members or anyone, a reason to shoot, harm or even kill. I fear, too, for the mentally disabled who cannot distinguish as to what Ms. Paula is suggesting.

Her anger while in the pulpit is unacceptable, aggravating and hostile and sends a message that our Father in Heaven will zap the ever-lovin’ pajamas off ya, or worse, if we don’t heed what she say’s. It’s trash. K

  24. Stephen,

I disagree. You don’t have access to my e-mail and private messages. Some do listen, and thank me. And those who don’t? So what? The truth is worth fighting for and deception should be called out and exposed.

  25. Daffydil says:

Stephen said “…you are wasting your life investing time in these stupid blogs. Your not changing anything and neither are your blogging brothers and sisters. ” And you’re reading this blog because….?

I never knew who Paula White was until a couple years ago – was not impressed as she simply regurgitates what all the rest of the plastics say. Once they have a close up encounter with someone else’s spouse, I just don’t have ANY reason to listen to them. I mean really, what solid truth can they tell you? They don’t even know what the truth is!

  26. ray says:

This is spiiritual bankruptcy, and PW is trying to squeeze every last dime . I fear that the day of the Lord will be a surprise for more than just those folks who do not know Christ, many who confess Him are going to be left wondering also.

  27. Expente Girl says:

I have to disagree with Stephen. I am very thankful for this blog and others like it. Many people are deceived by Paula White and her kind. I was born and raised in the pente church, a child of a pentecostal minister. When I finally came to a point where I was questioning what I was seeing and experiencing, the only place I could find opinions that weren’t pro pente were on blogs like this. These types of blogs encouraged me and enlightened me and helped me to eventually walk away from the only religion I had ever known. I came out of darkness because of the light I was pointed to by blogs like this one.

  28. IWTT says:

    @Stephen

    Actually, you are wrong. Period!

This site and many others that confront the teachings that are false have saved many from the deception. I am one. Not from this site but one much like it. What is it YOU find offensive? The attack on the teachings of Paula White? Notice I said teachings, not on Paula White.

  29. Backwoods Philosopher says:

    My question to Stephen……..

If Brother Stephen thinks that we are wasting our time on these blogs…..and that the moderator is wasting her time………then what is he doing here? Wasting his time? OR …….Does Brother Stephen work for Sister Paula White? HUH? Care to answer Brother Stephen?

  30. @ Stephen

Sorry brother but I think that your post is very ignorant. There are a lot of people who are kinda messed up because of the crazy teachings from WoF/Dominion/Charismania movement. Their vision are blurred because obviously their=WoF etc. teaching have hurt these people. And when some people are finding the truth, that is God’s Word, they need some support, because some people think they are alone with their bad experiences with the charismatic movement. When they read these posts, the experiences people are sharing and some, more biblical point of view concerning things like tithing, it can be an eye opener and liberating for some people. And I am one of them. So, before you write something, think first. I can imagine that people can think that you are a complacent person with your posts and that would not be the right thing right?

  31. sammy smith says:

Maybe they should change the name “Without Walls church” to”Without foundation church”just a thought

  32. Kiwi Dave says:

Oops! I attributed the quote form Charisma Magazine to Doug when it was actually Grant that posted it. My apologies.

Here is what Our Lord and Saviour Jesus said regarding the likes of Paula White, Benny Hinn, Creflo Dollar and the entire WoF/MAR/IHOP movement aa well as all those that endorsed the evil and worldly doctrines of that Financial Seminar:

“He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Matthew 12: 30 – 37 KJV

Now regarding the “advice” given to Chrystal by Steven, here’s what the Apostle James teaches:

“Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” James 3:13 – 18 KJV

  33. seeker3k says:

The basis of all these erroneous teachings is the belief that a word or prophecy from a spirit has greater priority than the counsel of Bible written text.

Christians should be aware that a spirit approached Jesus Christ with advice for his ministry, and Jesus compared each suggestion with the counsel of Bible written text and consequently rejected each advice.

    See Luke 4:1-13

If Jesus Christ demonstrated the priority of counsel from Bible written text being greater than counsel from a spirit visitation then no Christian should settle for less.

The Bible is authored by the Holy Spirit through guiding its contributing writers, and he will never counsel in contradiction to the book he authored.

There are numerous Bible warnings against being deceived.

The charismatic / pentecostal manifestation of christianity has defied this and its participants enjoy the fruits of deception to entertain their imaginations and feed their pride for thinking they are closer to God through pursuing the direct counsel of spirits instead of the more tedious work of searching scripture and learning sound doctrine.

True Christians oppose them with logical arguments supported by specific Bible written text correctly interpreted from knowing the context of the entire Bible.
The deceived Christians often avoid correctly interpreting the Bible by asserting that “the letter kills, but the spirit gives life”, then go on to seek prophecies and imaginations from direct spirit encounters.

This is the way that they develop personal relationships with demons.

Having cuddles and dialogs with spirits will always appeal more to the flesh than learning from the written text of a book, the Holy Bible.

Romans 13:14 ….. put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. (NKJV

The significant increase of contemplative meditation methods being promoted in churches world wide is a method to block off discernment from the mind and open the way for direct contact from spiritual entities the Bible calls familiar spirits or demons.

This is spiritual prostitution for Christians. God hates his people fornicating with Satan and his fallen angel minions.

Leviticus 20:6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. (KJV)

In regards to tithing, this false teaching was the very first heresy I publically opposed in a small Pentecostal oriented fellowship I attended in the South Island, New Zealand, in about 1988.

Although personally I had always set aside 10% of my gross income for donation and/or church purposes, I had never followed the doctrine of mandatory tithing, and I vigorously objected to its promotion by the pastor as compulsory for all Christians to avoid being cursed by God. I wrote a letter to all members of the fellowship and pastor, then subsequently ceased attending that fellowship.

It was better to cease that fellowship than be influenced by corruption and affirm its credibility by my attendance.

About 3 years later I was pursuaded by a New Age practicing “christian teacher” to resume attendance of a church so started going to that same fellowship again. One of the first fads I encountered there was “leg lengthening miracles” and this was part of a journey into the lying signs and wonders charismatic system with word-faith beliefs, false spiritual warfare teachings, “coming under the covering” of leaders, Toronto “blessing” type phenomena, etc.

This lasted for about 14 years until a series of personal crises prompted a reconsideration, leading to a painful and anxious time of slowly discovering and abandoning a completely false system of Christianity that is actually promoting the emergence of a false christ – the antichrist.

My first objection to this antichrist system was about their promotion of tithing.

The doctrine of tithing in the new covenant (New Testament) era is a false teaching to force the financial success of potentially false and harmful church fellowships. It is a system to make the poor completely destitute and encourages coveting by promoting the notion that God will give you money and possessions if you sow money first. The tithing teachers intend the money sowing be put into their collection plate because they love money and the material possessions of this world. This makes them enemies of God, so they will be punished, probably for eternity in the lake of fire.

Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” (NKJV)

    From Wikipedia:
Webster’s dictionary defines “Mammon” or “Mann” as:
    1) the false god of riches and avarice.
    2) riches regarded as an object of worship and greedy pursuit; wealth as an evil, more or less personified.
Winston defines it to mean: 1) wealth, worldly gain; 2) greed for riches; cupidity.
Oxford defines: god of wealth, regarded as evil or immoral; ‘those who worship mammon’ are equivalent to greedy people who value money too highly.

This is a warning to all Christians participating in false teachings that promote coveting and love of money, such as the evil doctrine of tithing.

Ezekiel 3:17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.

Stephen, if Chrystal (the moderator) is “wasting” her “life investing time in these stupid blogs,” then why did you bother wasting your time posting on this blog?

More about tithing, lol this lady and any like her dont know what they are talking about.Tithing like everything else from old testament law was finished at the cross, the old way is gone,Christ brought a new and better way.People who sit under this teaching are ignorant and undiscerining in the spirit of what God’s word says. This lady is also the same way and at some time in her life she was taught what she teaches now by people who were deceived and prob still are. This teaching on titheing is rampant in christanity and places people in bondage to the law.Christ reedemed us from the curse of the law!

  39. Barry wrote : “Tithing like everything else from old testament law was finished at the cross, the old way is gone,Christ brought a new and better way.” I can only agree with your statement. It is funny. These people are emphasizing so much on tithing, which is Old Testament, that they actually forget other Old Testament rules like circumcision, keeping the sabbath, loving your neighbours. If they are so keen on giving tithes, what about the complaints by The Lord God of Israel Himself about not giving help to the poor, the widows, the orphans etc. If a poor family or a faithful tither/supporter of PW’s ministry would ask for some help, and it doesn’t even have to be financial aid, to Paula White or one of the others hedonistic selfish powerchristians, they would not get one penny or a pair of shoes from Paula’s enormous shoes collection. Because they don’t care about the ordinary believer. As long as THEY have it all then everything is okay in their opinion. Very sickening people and attitude.

So, how many people have been brought up under teachers like Paula White? How many countries have been exposed via TBN?

Just rhetorical questions. Because the answer is: TOO MANY

There is something fundamentaly wrong when professed christians place themselves under false teaching AND they are unable to discern that there are problems. To use the analogy of sheep , we read in John 10:27

My sheep hear My voice , and I know them, and they follow Me.

Dumb sheep do wander off, and the sheperd goes looking for them , but how much more beneficial if those 99 sheep left in the pen continue to warn of the wolves that lurk never to far from the gate.

  43. Kiwi Dave says:

Paula White and all those Charismatic/Pentecostal preachers and teachers are totally stuck in the Law regarding tithing in order that they may increase their personal wealth, and preach doctrines that “tickle the ears” of their followers in orrder to keep the cash flowing. Seeing as how they are so intent on burderning their followers with the Old Testament tithe system, it’s only fitting that they are reminded form the Old Testament about King Saul who cared more about his wealth, popularity and standing among the people of Israel than the Word of the LORD. He feared the people instead of fearing God. So, when he was intructed to make war against the Amalekites and utterly destroy them, leaving nothing, he disobeyed, and this was the result:

“And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal. And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD. And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.” I Samuel 15: 20 – 26 KJV

Those who follow the NAR,Pentecostal and Charismatic teachings on tithing can tithe all they want to those organizations, and pay as much as they want, the Word of The LORD is clear, the same as what Samuel told Saul: “Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice”. In contrast we have the instructions from the Apostle Peter that highlight the unrepentant attitudes of the WoF/NAR/IHOP movements who are like Saul, and care about the opinions of their follwers in order to keep their posistions. Here is what the Scriptures instruct the true believer to do:

“Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” I Peter 1:13 – 25 KJV
