James White on Harold Camping

Since the date for the end of the world has been pushed back a bit, I thought you guys would like to pass the time by listening to what Dr. James White has to say about Harold Camping.  I don’t know.  It might make the time go by faster.

“Well, folks, I don’t know what else to say. The man is an inveterate heretic, unrepentant, and we call all of his followers to repent and abandon this man’s wild delusions.” James White

James White tells it like it is.

Amazing how we are so surprised when history repeats itself.

Mangling the interpretation of scripture is exactly what’s happened. May God have mercy on the poor fools who supported this nut.

Regarding the points that James White made about Harold Camping, the scriptures say this:

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.” I John 2:18 & 19 KJV

I think that James White hit the nail. He is a guru for people. Sets himself up as an authority and people like him, believe him and revere him. Another personality cult. People setting up idols in their hearts.

Well, this one failed them. Will they wake up? It astounds me, that people actually would listen to his denials and to the disfunction of his lame excuses. That is truly baffling!

Personally, I would have liked to hear from Harold Camping, “I’m sorry. I was wrong.” But then that would be admitting that he was but a simple mortal…so I understand his reluctance.

He was right about one thing: To be sure we are shaping up for some end time drama. …..apostasy is rampant, we have Matt. 24 natural and political chaos unfolding, the rise of globalization, economic meltdown, the Middle East on fire, political takeovers by the Muslim brotherhood, UFOs, HAARP, DARPA…and of course, there is no discounting Israel. She is planted undeniably back in her land and has become a “cup of trembling” to all the world. If you don’t know anything about these things, study them online, get your Bible out or return to your land of Oz, stick your head back under the sand and stand on one foot.

But for those who are keeping up…may I suggest an endtime master plan. You could choose your Freedom 55 or my particular preference for the sequence of events is “Freedom PPD…pretrib. premillenial, dispensational”. First because it is the one that makes the most sense to me, but also, I’ll be honest, I like it best.

Through much study, I have found that many scriptures back up my end time view, and I feel confident that we may soon be “harpahdzhoed”, raptured, caught up to meet him.
(Thessalonians 4:11 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.…

but if I end up wrong on some point, I will admit that I was wrong and take my licks. And I know you Freedom 55ers will hold me accountable.

Well here we go again! Ready?

October 21, 2011, our bodies will be raptured to meet our spirits which were taken up on May 21st (of course our spirits went first, you know), that’s the talk down the pike. Let’s give Harold Camping’s new interview a look see, just to make sure.

    Anyone feelin’ empty?

Have a great holiday this weekend! K :)

In case you tag me as a mindless airhead..when I said that I chose PPD because “I like it best”…a few more words to explain.

Why do I like Freedom PPD best? …some whim, or because it gives me an emotional fuzzy feeling or because it helps me escape pain and suffering? No….but because it best portrays God’s character, his justice and his plan.

First, his Character. Throughout Scripture, in keeping with his great love, he gives space for repentance before judgment. In the past he has taken his faithful out of places where his wrath is about to fall…Noah and Lot being the most obvious examples.
And in the NT…Oh, so many verses about the coming wrath and God’s purpose in it…not for discipline, but for judgment on unbelievers.
    1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Secondly, his justice requires that sin be punished. Although he disciplines his followers in love, his wrath is reserved for the unrighteous. Revelation tells us that in spite of God pouring out judgments on the unbelieving world, instead of repenting of all their works, ie worshipping demons, practicing magic arts and murders, their hearts were hardened and they continued in their sin without repentance.

Thirdly, his plan. His plan is to bring Christ to his throne in Jerusalem. His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives when he returns. He will rule for 1000 years from Zion, his holy hill. That puts Christ in Israel. Since Pentecost began with the church and ended with the church being removed, once we are caught up from the earth, he will begin to deal once again with his people Israel. It will be the time of Jacob’s trouble, the final 7 years Daniel’s 70th Week. The Great Tribulation.

And so I say again. History and the Future is not about us. It is all about Him. His his character, his justice, his plans, his purposes and his Kingdom.
Christ taught us to pray: Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done…

    Amen, Truthinator?
