Nothing Says You’re Anointed Like Good PR

Manasseh Jordan is anointed because his YouTube video (with a really dramatic voice-over) tells us he is.

One thing I find to be a bit creepy is how the announcer calls him “the prophet.”  Noticeably absent in this junket is humility.  Also noticeably absent is a.) the gospel, b.) Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, and c.) God the Father.

Extremely apparent, and front and center in the ad, is:

  1. Manasseh Jordan
  2. Manasseh Jordan’s supposed power
  3. Manasseh Jordan’s supposed anointing

Maybe he wants you to see just how important God thinks he is?  I can’t help but think about what the Bible said about pride…

Isaiah 2:17 And the pride of man will be humbled, And the loftiness of men will be abased, And the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.

The waving coat thing he got from good old Benny Hinn.

  2. Grant says:

It’s got a Benny Hinn feel- it’s sad to see a room full of duped people being manipulated by this Edgar Cayce, psychic influenced baloney. It’s a true debacle.

  3. Grant says:

BTW he could maybe send this into a deodorant company and produce a commercial about how BO will impact on your congregation

Manasseh Jordan, Mike Bickle (IHOP), Benny Hinn and the list is ENDLESS. Amazing that these “prophets” have forgotten that to be great in the Kindom of God, you must be like a little child. . .

Oh, but that’s just “religious” talk. We don’t need to listen to people who only read their bibles. . .do we?…

  7. Just another self-promotion of man to suck more money from people that lack discernment.

It’s no wonder that everyone falls when their arms are interlocked with each other and it appears that he has the power to knock masses of people over, “by the Holy Spirit.” The sad part about this, the people are responding like dumb sheep and believe this too!

I won’t even waste my time on a comment.

May our God bless him at this Thanksgiving season. K

  9. Carolyn says:

We warn about these seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, not because we have never been there, but because we have. They are real…they show you some real excitement but at a cost of following them instead of the Word. They Always! lead away from the Word to their word.
I have heard people say, I used to be narrow minded, but now I see differently. Their world has become full of colour and imagination. They have departed the narrow way of Christ’s gospel to a much “more effective, creative and happening” way…to a false annointing. How do I know? Because I follow Christ… and his Word tells me plainly.

  10. theWarrior says:

“I am the LORD; that is my name!
I will not give my glory to another
    or my praise to idols.”
May the Lord have mercy on men such as these – they are headed for destruction

  11. Michael C says:

This snake oil salesman is no different than the false prophet that I used to call pastor. All he does is promote himself for his own glory (and finacial gain). If anyone dares speak against him and his”anointing”, woe to them. People like this do not care how many families they break up or how many peoples faith is shipwrecked as long as the dollars keep coming in and they continue to make money off of the backs of their flock. It angers me to no end and what makes it even worse is the fact that any one can easily see past these schemes by spending only about a half hour in one of Pauls epistles…. If they are willing to be honest with themselves. Thankfully, Our God is merciful and just

  12. Kiwi Dave says:

I’m almost certain that the actor doing the voiceover for “prophet” Manasseh Jordan’s promotional ad is the same one used in these “Trunk Monkey” comedy adverts:

  13. Friend of Manasseh says:

The Ministry of Prophet Manasseh Jordan had it’s first service last night in Brussels. It was awesome, many souls gave their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ. The precious people pressed their way through the snow to take hold of the miracleous Prophetic Word from Prophet Manasseh.

  14. Grant says:

    Dear friend of Manny

How longeth hast thou been duped now? When wilt thou waketh up?

  15. Friend of Manasseh says:

For those who gossip and (murmur) against God’s servent Prophet Manasseh, keep this passage in mind.

    Exodus 16:8 (King James Version)

8And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.

  16. Ruitje says:

@Friend of Mannasseh, you are intimidating and manipulating, just like your ‘Prophet Manasseh’. Very sad.

  17. Ruitje says:

@Friend of M, and it is sad that this false prophet is now spreading his heresy in Europe. I hope God will open your eyes right in time before it is to late.
