Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) is one of the biggest religious television networks in the world. No, correction…it is the biggest religious television network in the world. Because of its vast reach, it bears the responsibility of spreading the Word of Faith (WOF) prosperity heresy throughout the world and has done much harm in the body of Christ. That is why I find it important to report this news story.
TBN gladly takes the money of the poor and sick while promising them unrealistic health, wealth, and prosperity. This is a bill of goods that their theology will never be able to deliver because it is not founded upon the gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of the deception that permeates the TBN’s airwaves, spiritual darkness has grown at an exponential rate. Therefore, it is important to expose their error in any way possible in the hopes that their viewers will open their eyes and see truth. No, I don’t expect a whole-scale awakening, but someone somewhere will listen.
With that said, TBN was sued by a former employee who accused Paul Crouch, Jr. of sexual harassment. According to this news report, TBN settled the lawsuit for an undisclosed amount. In my experience, where there’s smoke there’s fire. You don’t normally settle a lawsuit unless there’s a reason to settle it. That reason could be that a.) they’re guilty and the plaintiff can easily prove their case, or b.) they want to avoid the publicity. Given that this is the second lawsuit of a sexual nature to hit TBN, maybe there’s something to the charges.
Like I said, where there’s smoke there’s fire.
Where there’s smoke there’s fire? You betcha.
Get ready for more suits much the same if you’re right. TBN could, however, do the same thing that Mike Bickle did with IHOP and find something for people to get nice and occupied with while the “party in question” was shuffled out of the way and life once again could resume as if nothing had ever happened.
However, since I’m not a TBN fan, I really don’t know what Paul Crouch’s role is in TBN. My goodness, isn’t it interesting seeing the different types of “witness” that are put out these days amongst these different types of “ministires”.
Too bad TBN has mutated into what it is..it is my understading that it was once a good station.
More to this story apparently: http://www.ocweekly.com/2009-02-12/news/moxley-confidential-rackauckas/
I am FAR from a fan of the TBN lineup or personalities, like the Crouches. However, the charge was not Paul C Sr or Jr making sexual advances (I think the first suit was like that for Sr PC). This one was Paul Jr supposedly or actually telling a “gay [homosexual] former employee” Not to act so ‘gay’, and date women.
What smoke into which ‘fire’ does this one lead us? Please be careful of not leaving out essential details.
“The lawsuit alleged that Paul Crouch Jr., the son of founders Jan and Paul Crouch, told Dugger to stop being “gay,” teased Dugger in front of others and told him to take more interest in women.”

Don’t know if that is true, or TBN just wanted to get rid of the issue. Not a great way to spend the money of its unfortunate supporters, in any case.
There is plenty of evidence on why TBN is far off the mark, and needs massive overhaul of much or most of its programming, and changes in the mindset, doctrines and practices of its leaders, like the entire Crouch crew.
Harry, if so? Then why so quick to settle for an undisclosed sum? Why not fight it. Remember Micheal Jackson was NEVER convicted of any wrongdoing…he just kept “paying off” his accusers.
am not sure about the scandal but just worried about the gospel they preach and the idols they sell to people.
