The Late Great USA

I gound this article by Dr. Thomas Ice to be most informative and helpful to shed light on the current state of affairs this country finds itself in.  Here’s a small snippet, but please take time to read the article in its entirety.

Former Clinton advisor and commentator Dick Morris announced:

“On April 2, 2009, the work of July 4, 1776 was nullified at the meeting of the G-20 in London.”[1]That is an amazing statement and a tragedy if true. One of my best friends in the ministry, with whom I have co-authored two books, Mark Hitchcock wrote a book, which was finished before last November’s election, entitled The Late Great United States.[2] There are two other books listed on amazon.com with similar titles. Why are many concerned that our great country is on the verge of extinction?  (Online Source)

Most “Christians” avoid the subject of the fact that the United States is falling fast and falling hard. Those who are more caught up in having their best life now, and word faith nonsense of naming and claiming their faith are blind to the fact that this country is not God fearing. They are serving their idols of gold and silver and have forsaken God as being God and the only true faith through Jesus.

No, this country is spiralling downward fast!

Judgment is coming, and with these economic reminders, it’s started!

Let us watch for the Lord’s coming back for us.

The sad fact is, even though America is all but toast, most are too busy living life as usual, oblivious to what’s happening. It truly is just like the days of Noah; even professing Christians aren’t able to discern the times. We who are gifted with discernment by God must continue on in the work He has given, we must call lost sinners to repentance as well as warn of the rapidly approaching judgment.
As Steve Lawson says in his book, ‘Famine in the Land’, “Noah’s message from the steps going up to the Ark was not “Something good is going to happen to you!” Amos was not confronted by the high priest of Israel for proclaiming, “Confession is possession!” Jeremiah was not put into the pit for preaching, “I’m O.K., you’re O.K.” Daniel was not put into the lion’s den for telling people, “Possibility thinking will move mountains!” John the Baptist was not forced to preach in the wilderness and eventually beheaded because he preached, “Smile, God loves you!” The two prophets of the tribulation will not be killed for preaching, “God is in his heaven and all is right with the world!”

The message of the true God-sent missionary will be like the message of Noah – “Repent from your sins, for judgment is coming!” It will be like that of Jonah – “Repent from your sins, for judgment is coming!” It will be like that of John the Baptist – “Repent from your sins, for judgment is coming!” – HT- http://defendingcontending.com/

How can we get through to the unsaved when the so called “Church” won’t listen to discernment of the prophecies of the last days???

The people of the church have fallen for the world being their “playground” have become so comfortable with life and the riches they have found for themselves they don’t look to God as Lord or Jesus as Redeemer. They only look to God or Jesus as being their spiritual “healer” or “lover of their souls” and only go to them for help when all else fails, rather than having Him be their all in all.

When the world is too good for them, they are NOT going to be looking for judgment or the King’s Return. They’re too busy finding their best life now and all of that nonsense.

They should be watching and waiting. Not gathering the most junk now.

Boy, I never thought I’d live to see the mess we are seeing today. The country that I grew up in does not exist anymore.

    God help us!!
